We are looking for a Lead Generation Specialist to play a critical role in driving new business volume by identifying, qualifying and developing new business opportunities. This position requires a strong understanding of B2B sales, specifically within the UK parcel delivery sector, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a pipeline of leads.

You will be accountable for:

  • Researching and identifying potential clients through various channels including LinkedIn, TAMI, databases and referrals
  • Working with the Head of Corporate Sales and Head of Strategic Sales to develop target lists and execute outbound lead generation campaigns – cold calls, emails, social selling
  • Conducting initial outreach and discovery calls to understand the opportunities needs and existing pain points
  • Maintaining detailed and up to date records of interactions in the CRM system
  • Building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, guiding them through the early stages of the sales process
  • Developing personalised content, follow-up strategies and nurturing campaigns to keep target clients engaged
  • Taking part in regular sales and strategy meetings to align lead generation efforts with overall sales strategy
  • Tracking lead conversion rates, number of qualified leads generated and overall pipeline growth

To be successful in this role you will require the following…

  • 2+ years' experience in lead generation or telesales role, preferably within a B2B sales environment
  • 1+ years' experience of commercial experience with the parcel delivery sector.
  • An excellent understanding of e-Commerce and logistics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional and IT literate with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to constructively challenge a diverse range of stakeholders.
