We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Reception Teacher to join a thriving primary school, starting in January. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a welcoming and dynamic team, committed to delivering high-quality education to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum, fostering a love of learning in children.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes childrens social, emotional, and academic development.
• Monitor and assess pupils progress, ensuring learning objectives are met and providing effective feedback.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the EYFS provision.
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community to support childrens development and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate records of progress and contribute to reports for parents and stakeholders.
• Uphold the schools policies and ethos, demonstrating commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience teaching in the EYFS.
• A thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum and its application.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan effectively and manage time efficiently.
• A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching, inspiring children to achieve their best.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
