Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Job Description
My client is a well established building and refurbishment contractor based around Amesbury is seeking an enthusiastic SALES & MARKETING CO-ORDINATOR to join their friendly team due to their recent expansion and full order books well into 2025/2026.
This role would suit someone with strong self-motivation skill sets and the chance to earn commission on confirmed orders.
You will need to support the successful coordinating of sales operations that allow the business to meet and surpass its sales targets consistently.
This will include training & development of all team members so it would be useful if you have some sort of track record running and developing sales teams.
Accountabilities:
* Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
* Engaging with our customers to make them feel welcome and building relationships so that they leave the showroom having had a positive experience.
* Up selling and ensuring all sales are processed efficiently and accurately.
* Estimating jobs where required using pricing software.
* Effective management of the estimation process including a quick turnaround and follow up contact with customers, ensuring they are satisfied with the quotation.
* Training team members to engage and learn about all the products.
* Working as a team to deliver the best customer experience while supporting one another and having fun along the way.
* Your role will be hybrid between the area you cover and their modern showroom working through new leads and pricing from drawings and customer requirements as well as creating leads from appointments.
* You will be required to be 100% self sufficient and quote your jobs from start to finish and deal with that customer through the entire sales experience.
* You will be working closely as a team member to ensure your work load is prioritised and you work as efficiently as possible
* Appointments will take priority as well as training the team and enhancing the knowledge across the team.
* Meeting with old and new clients to secure more work in the future will be required.
* You will need to be able to communicate with customers within the showroom and via emails to ensure they have the best experience.
* Once you are successful with a quotation issued you will need to be able to collate all the information together along with the order and distribute accordingly to other departments using a tracker.
You:
* Computer skills – Microsoft Office suite.
* Must be able to perform a variety of duties being resourceful and maintaining flexibility.
* Ability to focus and maintain attention to performance of tasks and to work and complete assignments on time despite frequent interruptions.
* Effective communication - express or exchange ideas; must be able to verbally convey detailed instructions.
* Able to manage priorities and workflow.
* Strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Attention to detail, commitment to high standards.
* Working within friendly team.
* Persuading and influencing and planning and organising
