Job Description
Involve Recruitment are in search for a permanent Site Manager for our client a high end Residential New Build and Refurbishment contractor. This role is permanent position however the initial project will be from £4+ million and the Site Manager will be present from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all labour, materials and subcontractors supported by a team of a second site managers, contract managers and Quantity Surveyors. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage resources to achieve operational goals.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage site operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
* Coordinate and oversee the work of various teams, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
* Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
* Conduct regular inspections of the site to identify areas for improvement or maintenance needs.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and project execution.
* Prepare reports on site performance, including productivity metrics and compliance with regulations.
* Provide training and support to staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Experience
* 10 years industry experience
* 5 years Site Management experience
* SMSTS & First Aid (Essential)
* Temporary works Coordinator (Preferred)
* Competency with Outlook, Excel, Word, PDF and programming software such a MS Project.
* High end Residential (Preferred) or Commercial
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations applicable to site management.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams and motivate staff towards achieving common goals.
