Customer Account Manager
Based in Coventry
Full Time Permanent
Up to £33,500 per annum
A newly developed role has been created for a professional and experienced Customer Account Manager to join a leading manufacturer in Coventry.
The role of customer account manager is integral to the business as their expansion plans continue into 2025 and beyond. To help both the commercial and production areas manage all customer quotes, orders & production activities throughout company, ensuring all company targets are met and quality procedures are to customers specification and satisfaction specifically for key customer accounts.
Your key responsibilities as a Customer Account Manager will include:
- Production and Customer Communication
- Supply chain runs efficiently
- Contact Reviews - reviews costs, timeframes and materials
- Budget control is maintained at all times
- Work closely with the quality team to ensure standards are maintained and carry out investigations where required
- Work with production and planning teams to accurately create and deliver business plans and create KPI's to ensure these
Skills required for the role of Customer Account Manager:
- Come from a manufacturing or engineering background
- Have experience with working to budgets and have a solid knowledge of operating costs and financial procedures
- Be comfortable communicating to people at all levels, internally and externally
- Have a base knowledge of manufacturing materials such as steel, aluminium and titanium
- Be proficient in using Microsoft packages
Specifics of Customer Account manager:
- Up to £33,500 per annum basic salary
- Overtime available at premium rates
- 40 hour week
