The main job purpose would be to have an active role with assisting with the implementation of all commercial aspects of the project through working closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor and site delivery team. Your role will involve cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Cost Control: Implement and maintain robust project cost control procedures, with monthly reporting on project costs and profitability.
* Budget Management: Oversee each project budget, consistently updating final cost estimates to ensure complete cost and value reconciliation.
* Cash Flow Analysis: Conduct and report on cash flow analysis for each project.
* Procurement: Prepare tenders for subcontractors and materials, securing all necessary resources in line with project timelines.
* Order Processing: Manage sub-contract orders, invoices, and payments within our software management system.
* Valuations & Accounts: Assess and agree upon subcontractor valuations, variations, and instructions. Prepare payment certificates and final accounts for approval.
* Tenders: Preparing Tender Documentation
* Contracts: Preparation of Sub-Contract Orders
Qualifications
* Experience: minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or a similar role in the construction industry.
* Knowledge of all construction process and stages
