In this role, you’ll play a key part in:

* Partnering with sales and project delivery teams to align on customer requirements and delivery strategies, ensuring smart building solutions exceed client expectations while driving sustainability and functionality.

* Engaging in the post-contract phase of high-profile BMS projects, managing commercial operations to ensure transparency in obligations, risks, costs, and project outcomes, and delivering unparalleled value in energy management and decarbonisation.

* Applying your construction law expertise to navigate standard contracts such as NEC and JCT, while maintaining a strong commercial focus on BMS controls and smart building technologies, to support the company’s commitment to cutting-edge solutions and efficient project delivery.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

* A relevant professional qualification (such as LLB, MRICS, BSc QS) with a solid grasp of construction law, including familiarity with NEC and JCT contracts.

* Proven experience in a commercial or contract management role within the Construction or Mechanical & Electrical sectors.

* A strong understanding of the energy industry, along with commercial awareness of energy technologies and solutions.

* The ability to effectively deliver on contract obligations, ensuring optimal outcomes for the organisation.

* Knowledge or familiarity with Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) and M&E Plant, as well as a background in the construction industry, which would be beneficial.
