The Role
You’ll play a pivotal role in driving the development and delivery of transformative Smart Building projects. Working with an expert engineering team, you’ll be responsible for achieving operational goals, maximising delivery efficiency, and growing market share.
This dynamic leadership role includes:
* Strategic Leadership: Shaping and implementing the business plan for the Projects department, ensuring technical delivery, financial performance and operational excellence.
* Team Development: Leading an engineering team to deliver on planned objectives, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. You will be visible, present, and contactable and will build strong relationships with your team. This is very much a People-Centric role.
* Business Growth: Partnering with the Sales Department to help foster client relations and to expand market share in the delivery of BMS Control projects to the construction sector across London and the South East.
* Commercial Accountability: Managing budgets, ensuring compliance, and driving commercial success.
* Market Awareness: Monitoring market trends and competitors to maintain a competitive edge and inform strategic decision-making.
You’ll be a key player on the Business Management Team, directly influencing company-wide strategies and setting ambitious objectives to elevate the business to new heights.
