Job Description
Ignite is seeking an Estimator who is confident, reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our client team. The position will be a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment, with a responsibility to produce Electrical tenders for both pre-designed and design & build projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and industrial estimating, and the ability to analyse project requirements to produce accurate quotations and tender submissions.
About the client
Our Client an established M&E Contractor specialising in commercial & industrial design & build projects. Predominately, our work is in the film and TV production sector where we are fortunate enough to work with high profile clients including Warner Bros Studios, Pinewood Studios, etc.
The candidate will be responsible for gather quotations from our trusted supply chain for HV Network & Substation works, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fibre & Structured cabling, Security, Fire Detection, etc.
The Role requires the candidate to:
▪ Meet with clients to understand the “Employers Requirements”.
▪ Produce Scope of Works.
▪ Produce full tender submissions with internal support.
▪ Produce bill of quantities, schedules of work and contractor’s proposal documents to support quotations & tender proposals.
▪ Produce bill of materials & call off sheets.
▪ Review issued employers requirements, specifications, drawings, tender clarifications and other relevant documents, etc.
▪ Ensure that all tender submissions are comprehensively reviewed and quality checked.
▪ Attend pre & post tender meetings and site reviews as required.
▪ Provide support and guidance to onsite engineers as and when needed.
▪ Experience with AutoCAD, AMTech, Prodesign
