Job Description

Fabrication Time Analyst and Textile Costing Specialist Versace is one of the most recognizable names in the world. As Fabrication Time Analyst and Textile Costing Specialist , within our Novara site, you will work closely with the Production Manager, development teams, and purchasing managers, with regular presence in the production Internal Atelier. Your Contribution: Fabrication Time Analysis: Calculate and analyze fabrication times for products developed internally as well as by external subcontractors; Ensure rigorous monitoring of fabrication times to identify discrepancies and anticipate adjustments needed for process optimization; Develop performance indicators to track times and improve production processes. Pre-Costing and Cost Control: Perform pre-costing tasks within the PLM system, working closely with development teams, the internal atelier, and subcontractors; Monitor actual fabrication times on the production atelier and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost calculations; Adjust production cost estimates based on real-time fabrication data and on-site observations. Optimization and Negotiations: Support purchasing managers in price negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers, leveraging precise fabrication cost analyses and alternative sourcing options; Make continuous improvement recommendations to reduce production costs while maintaining quality standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product development teams to anticipate fabrication needs and constraints from the design phase onward; Maintain clear communication with subcontractors and the internal workshop to ensure cost and timeline compliance with forecasts; Work closely with the Production Director to provide regular analyses and reports on production costs and optimization opportunities; Collaborate directly with purchasing managers to provide support and insights that strengthen negotiation strategies. Your Skills: Production management or a related field; At least 5-10 years of experience in production analysis, pre-costing, or a similar role, ideally within the textile industry; Proficiency in PLM tools, cost analysis, and production management systems; Strong data analysis skills and experience with performance metrics; Detail-oriented, rigorous, team player with excellent communication skills for interacting with various internal and external stakeholders; Proficiency in Italian and English (NICE TO HAVE) is an asset for communication with international subcontractors.
