Job Description

Become an integral part of a diverse teams that delivers enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce performing a wide range of missions in defense of our Nation. It is the contract vehicle for the Enterprise Infrastructure Services organization overseeing MPO’s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT). EIT is MPO’s backbone- platform for all Enterprise users. Data Center & Compute Services is the EIS enabling organization working with customers, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and vendors to deliver select EIT.


ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud System Administrator to join our team in Hanover, MD . In this role you will be working as a cloud system administrator utilizing cloud computing platforms.


Responsibilities Included but are not limited to:




  • Use configuration management tools to manage and maintain many AWS EC2 instances and user workspaces.




  • Vulnerability mitigation and patch management for Linux and Windows environments.




  • Understanding and reviewing security vulnerability scan results.




  • Troubleshooting and problem solving within the AWS cloud infrastructure.




  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, etc.




Minimum Qualifications:




  • Twelve (12) years of experience with a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.




  • In-depth knowledge of Commercial Cloud.




  • IAT II certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.




Preferred Qualifications:




  • Demonstrated experience utilizing AWS/KION, Salt, Splunk, Nessus, GitLab and Jira. Along with automation/configuration tools.




  • Experience providing support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.




  • Must be able to perform expert level troubleshooting.




Clearance Requirements:



  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.


Physical Requirements:



  • Must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer’s desk. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
