Job Title: Risk Assessor
Department: Investment Risk
Location: Liverpool
Contract Type: 12-Month FTC
Hours: 9am - 5pm
Salary: £27,000
The Role
Join our Investment Risk team as a Risk Assessor where you'll collaborate with Investment Management Teams to ensure high-quality Client Summaries. You'll manage key suitability procedures, including reviewing deadline extension requests and assisting with client follow-ups.
Responsibilities of the Risk Assessor
* Draft About Your Investment Mandates (AYIM) based on client documentation, identifying and reporting any gaps to Investment Managers.
* Manage multiple work streams and prioritise tasks according to team needs.
* Maintain high standards in central processes such as Temporary Exception and Non-responding Client requests.
* Update all necessary reporting systems with accurate information.
* Support Investment Management teams in fostering a strong suitability quality culture, offering assistance and improving AYIM standards.
* Collaborate with the Suitability Manager to address process gaps.
Experience needed as a Risk Assessor
* Proficiency in Excel and Office suites.
* Excellent writing skills.
* Ability to explain issues and concepts clearly.
* Strong relationship management and collaboration skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to manage deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
* Experience in financial services is preferred.
* Understanding of the regulatory environment.
