Job Description
SkyBlue is currently seeking an experienced Planner to join a client working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities of a Planner, however not limited to:
Craft and manage detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project, keeping everything on track with key milestones and project goals.
Work closely with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timelines, resources, and objectives are all aligned for a smooth workflow.
Keep a close eye on project progress, spot potential delays early, and use critical path analysis to keep things on schedule.
Strategically allocate resources like manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project needs efficiently.
Identify risks before they become roadblocks and develop strategies to minimize their impact on the project timeline.
Act as the glue that holds different teams together, avoiding overlaps or conflicts and ensuring every part of the project fits seamlessly.
Prepare regular updates and clear, actionable dashboards for stakeholders. When things go off course, suggest recovery plans or adjustments to steer the project back on track.To be successful a Planner will need to posses the following:
Proven experience in civil infrastructure project planning.
Proficiency in Primavera P6/MS Project.
