Salary:Up to £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours:Monday to Friday Days

We are supporting a well established and successful manufacturing business in Telford who are looking to recruit a Quality Controller into the existing Quality team. Although they are a global business, the Telford manufacturing site have a close-knit team who are moving the business forward with some exciting growth plans and objectives to see them increase their volumes over the next 5 years.

As the Quality Controller you will be supporting the site Quality and Technical team by ensuring standards and compliance for materials and finished products.

As the Quality Controller you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out internal audits to BRC standards
• Performing laboratory testing and compiling material and non-conformance reports
• Investigating customer quality issues using root-cause analysis and applying corrective actions
• Assist with internal, external and customer audits
• Leading a small team of QA Technicians
• Membership of the site HACCP team

Skills and Experience required:

• Strong knowledge and experience of working with BRC standards
• Qualified to HACCP Level 3 (Essential)
• Internal Auditor Trained
• Previous experience of working within a Quality Assurance / Quality Control / Quality technician role within a BRC orientated manufacturing environment
