Job Description
Position: Goods Inwards Inspector
Location: Quedgeley
type of position: 3 moth contract
Working hours: Friday to Monday 8:00 am to 16:00
Job Purpose:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Goods Inwards Inspector to join a forward-thinking manufacturing business. The role involves ensuring all incoming goods and materials meet required specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed inspections of incoming goods, raw materials, and components against specifications, and purchase orders.
Review and verify supplier documentation.
Record inspection results and non-conformances within the quality management system.
Work closely with procurement, engineering, and production teams to address quality concerns.
Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Requirement:
Proven experience in a similar role, such as Goods Inwards Inspector or Quality Inspector, preferably within manufacturing.
Skilled in using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
