Job Description

LDH La Doria have been a leading supplier of ambient food products for supermarkets across the UK for over 65 years. We now have a great opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our Supply Chain team as our Customer Lead.


Responsibilities include:


  • Support the Customer Services team in completing the day to day processes and provide best in class customer service.
  • To develop and maintain standard operating procedures / processes.
  • To ensure all orders are correctly processed considering MOQ’s, weight limits and delivery timescales. Any non-confirming orders should be identified and reviewed.
  • To ensure that stock is allocated according to the SAP picking strategy maximizing opportunities to clear part pallets, shorter dated product etc.
  • To ensure the live load board is maintained and updated by the team in a timely manner whilst challenging anomalies including part complete and late running loads.
  • To ensure stock shortage decisions are made in line with the company ethos, i.e. maximize every opportunity to fulfil the order. Shortage recover plans should be calculated, precise and communicated to all stakeholders.
  • To ensure known shortages should be properly managed including customer communication and switch on / off dates if available.
  • To ensure all contract balances are produced each week with accurate and complete information including the correct adjustment of contract differences.
  • To ensure Incidents are followed up by the team, investigated, categorized and reported on. Ultimately any costs incurred should be recharged to the liable party.
  • To ensure Rejections / Returns are followed up by the team, investigated, categorized and reported on. Ultimately any costs incurred should be recharged to the liable party.
  • To engage with Commercial and Supply Chain to aid promotion volume fulfilment including facilitating promotion volume reporting.
