Senior Care Assistant
* £12.26 per hour
* Nights and days available
* 35 contracted hours per week
* Minimum NVQ 3 required
My client is a multi-award winning luxurious residential home specialising in elderly care, with some early dementia needs. They are now seeking kind and caring individuals to join their experienced team as a Senior Care assistant on days or nights.
With comfortable living areas, and stunning garden areas this home provides a warm and welcoming environment where residents can enjoy comfort, companionship and awarding-winning residential and dementia care.
Senior Care Assistant Main Duties:
As a Senior Care assistant, you will be an integral part of their caring and dedicated team. Your main responsibilities will include:
* Lead and manage a small team of carers whilst monitoring practices
* Assisting residents with daily living activities, including personal care and supporting their mobility
* Managing and administering medication
* Reviewing and updating residents care plans
* Keeping accurate records of care provided
* Identify training needs
* Reporting any changes in residents conditions
Senior Care Assistant Requirements:
To excel in this role, we are seeking Leading Carers with the following qualifications and qualities:
* Previous experience in a senior care assistant role required
* NVQ 2 minimum
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
