Job Description
Principal People are excited to be partnered with a global manufacturing organisation, who are looking for a Project Manager (H&S) to join them on a 6-9 month contract, on one of their sites in the Rugby area. This role will be a fully site based role with an outline of responsibilities below. They are looking for a strong verbal communicator and the role is to pay a daily rate of £(Apply online only)/day (Outside IR35).
Project Manager responsibilities include:
Manage the day to safety of contractors, permits and integration in the workplace, CDM
Clearly communicate activities and escalate
Review RAMS and ensure fit for purpose
Manage induction of contractors and the daily tasks
Manage supplier meetings and resource planning
Review and technical drawings and specifications
Accountable for managing the timeline and budgets of projects
Variation management
Ensure all documentation is updated and validated before handover including as installed equipment specifications, drawings, training, maintenance, spares, all legal compliance The successful Project Manager will:
Have Project Management experience ideally within a manufacturing or automated environment
Ideally hold a health and safety qualification NEBOSH General or Equivalent (Desirable)
Be happy to work a fully site based role
Be available at short notice (available to start by start of January)
