Your new company
Your new company is a well-established not-for-profit organisation located in the Heart of Narberth. My client is looking for an individual to join their team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract Basis. The role is fully office based and will require an individual who is able to drive.
Your new role
Your new role as Administrator/Receptionist is to provide general project and administrative support to the project officers in the organisation. The role will involve providing general daily administrative cover for the organisation as a fully office-based member of the team. Your duties will include but not be limited to: acting as first point of contact for visitors to the main building, providing administrative support for projects including internal documents, reporting and steering group coordination, assisting with the organisation of meetings, training events including liaison with local, group representatives and partner organisations. You will also be responsible for maintaining databases of contacts and updating information as required. Further to this, you will provide general administrative duties for the wider team, including reception, acting as first point of contact for visitors and by telephone, as well as any other tasks as and when required by project and organisational managers.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be an experienced administrator who is organised and able to work on their own initiative. They will have great communication skills, verbal and writing, and will be IT literate. The successful individual will be somebody who is fast thinking, reliable and able to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. The successful candidate must be prepared to undertake a basic DBS check and possess a current full driving licence with access to an appropriate vehicle.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £25,200. The role is a fixed-term contract for a 12-month period. The working hours for the role are 37.5 hours per week, fully office based. You will receive an annual leave entitlement of 25 days plus Bank Holidays and a very generous pension scheme. There is also free parking available on site.
