SEN TA needed in Newton Abbot with an immediate start

We have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join an amazing school just outside of Newton Abbot who’s school values reflect being aspirational, learner-focused, collaborative & progressive.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting learners with special educational needs, both inside & outside the classroom. Your responsibilities will include implementing individual education plans (IEPs) & personalised learning strategies, collaborating with teachers & professionals, assisting with personal care tasks & helping learners develop social & emotional skills.
We are seeking candidates who are eager to develop the skills & knowledge necessary to become excellent Teaching Assistants. The IDEAL candidate will:
Be able to work full-time
Have experience working supporting needs like speech & language disabilities and autism
Have knowledge other relevant teaching strategies and resources
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Have the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Have a positive and proactive attitude towards supporting children with SEN
