Chief Operating Officer (COO) - OTE £100,000 to £120,000 OTE

In this pivotal role, you will be directly involved in the day-to-day operations, working closely with all departments to drive efficiency, innovation, and growth. Required Skills and Experience:

· Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience in a senior operational role, with a proven track record of managing large teams and complex projects.

· Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to align operational activities with broader business goals.

· Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial management and performance metrics.

· Operational Expertise: Deep knowledge of operational best practices, process improvement, and quality control.

· Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.

· Communication: Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

· Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.

Must Haves:

· Telesales: Proven experience working in a company with a large telesales team.

· High-Volume Sales: Demonstrated experience managing high-volume sales environments, with a company making hundreds of sales daily.

· Marketing Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of in-house digital marketing strategies, including pay-per-click (PPC) and SEO traffic generation.

· Software Experience: Ability to develop and integrate software solutions to suit operational needs.

· B2C Experience: Significant experience in business-to-consumer (B2C) operations, understanding the intricacies and demands of consumer markets.

· Company size: Must have experience working in companies of 50 - 250 employees.

Nice to Haves:

· Automotive Experience: Experience in the automotive industry, with a solid understanding of its unique operational and market challenges.

· International Operations: Experience managing operations across multiple countries, with an understanding of global logistics, international regulations, and cultural differences.

· Detail-Oriented: Pays close attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks.

Long-Term Vision:

Within 1 year, the COO will have established robust operational systems and processes, enabling the executive team to focus on strategic initiatives and business growth. The COO will play a crucial role in driving the company’s success, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

· Experience: Minimum of 10 years in an operational leadership role, with at least 5 years in a senior management position.

· Location: This is not a remote role, so applicants must live within a 30-mile radius of Chichester.
