QC Laboratory Technician

CK Group are currently recruiting for a Quality Technician, on a 3 month contract basis, for one of the world's largest producers of silicones and silicone derivatives and a global leader in the development and manufacture of these products based in the North West.

The duties and responsibilities of this Quality Technician are as follows:

Involvement in the day to day functions of the Laboratory, including;
Preparation of custom compound test samples.
QC testing of custom compounds.
Preparation of samples for customers.
Provision of laboratory support for production.
Complaint investigation.
Filing and archiving of all QC test data and batch documentation.
Organize QC sample retains.
Ensure a high level of housekeeping within the laboratory.
Health & Safety projects.
Assistance to manufacturing operations.
In order to be considered for the position of Quality Technician you must have the following skills and experience:

HNC / Degree ideally based in a science/technical subject.
Working experience in a silicone/rubber material physical testing laboratory would be an advantage.
