Building Envelope Contracts Manager

Job Description
One of our long standing Hampshire based building envelope construction clients having been trading for over 20 years are now recruiting for the right people for 2025.
Specialising in design, installation, manufacture, and maintenance of specialist curtain walling, cladding, building envelope and glazing systems.
Contract Management Role;
The Contracts Manager will work closely with the Directors to oversee the Contracts department.
Responsibilities include ensuring the successful delivery of multiple projects concurrently and playing a crucial role in the estimating processes during tender stages.
Contract management key duties involve continuous liaison with the estimating and commercial departments to support pre-construction activities until project management/site teams take over. The Contracts Manager will continue to support site teams and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the construction period.
Assist the Contracts Director with departmental improvements and procedure modifications.
• Oversee the successful delivery of projects around London and the South of England.
• Manage and coordinate project teams both pre-start and once works commence on-site, including internal meetings.
• Support project teams to ensure all site works are conducted in accordance with safe working practices and current Health and Safety legislation.
• Ensure project teams prepare method statements, COSHH, Risk Assessments, and Quality plans.
• Provide estimating and pre-construction support throughout tender stages.
Contract Management Experience;
• Ability to work under own initiative and create/monitor programmes.
• Effective communication skills and a creative mindset for process improvement.
• Balanced and rational approach in dealings with others.
• Strong team player who fosters an environment of confidence and respect.
• Ability to build effective relationships with main contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• High attention to detail and strong understanding of construction plans and drawings.
• Good IT skills, particularly in MS Projects, Excel, and Word.
• Preferred: HNC, HND, or Degree.
• Over 10 years of competent subcontract façade management or similar experience.
• Proven track record of successful project completion, repeat clients, and new project awards.
• Pre-construction experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of façade sector products.
• CSCS Manager's Card.
• SMSTS certification.
