Job Description

Principal People is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Professional to be part of a successful and established Construction business that specialises in multi-story Construction projects.

The successful candidate will be predominantly site-based covering circa 10 Construction sites between Birmingham & Leeds.

You will be working within a team and report directly to the HSE Manager.

This business will allow you to expand your experience and grow your career within Health, Safety & Environment for a rapidly growing Construction company.

Our client is providing an opportunity for a candidate who is ideally working or has worked for a Principal Contractor and has experience with overseeing Health & Safety on High Rise or Residential Construction projects.

Key responsibilities of this Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor include:

Carrying out on-site duties including site inspections, site audits and accident investigations
Provide expert advice and training on health, safety, environmental, and quality issues, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with on site teams and other internal and external stakeholders.
Attending site and office meetings when required. The successful Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor will hold:

Experience within Construction
NEBOSH Construction certificate or equivalent
Full UK Driver’s License Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

Working at Height
Temporary Works
CSCS
