Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire
Start Date: January or Easter 2025
Contract Duration: Long Term
Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed Term

Teacher of Science Role Overview:
As a Teacher of Science, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic progress, fostering a love for science, and preparing them for their future educational and career paths.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Key Stage 3 and GCSE science lessons that cater to the needs and abilities of all students.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their potential.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
Participate in departmental and whole-school meetings, contributing to the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning practices.
Support students' social and emotional development, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment.
Teacher of Science Minimum Requirements:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge in Science, with the ability to teach across all three sciences at KS3 and GCSE.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment for all students.
Ability to start immediately and commit to the role until the end of the academic year.
