Job Title: Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Worcestershire
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team in Worcestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of new build residential construction projects and play a key role in managing project costs and delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the full life cycle of project cost management, including budgeting, cost estimation, and value engineering.
Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies.
Provide financial reporting and forecasts, ensuring projects are completed within budget.
Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
Monitor project progress, managing risks, and resolving any cost-related issues or disputes.
Collaborate closely with project managers and site teams to ensure effective cost control throughout the project.
Conduct site visits to assess work and ensure accuracy in cost management and reporting.
Support junior team members, providing guidance and mentor-ship when required.Key Requirements:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the residential construction sector.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and financial management.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.What They Offer:
