Job Description

My client is a 200m Turnover business within the fire and electrical industry, they are looking for a Weekly tester for the Bristol area, this is a great role to get foot in door to a large business with opportunities to progress into fire alarm engineer, electrician or similar role within 12 months, they are looking for someone who is interested in building a career within the electrical world, the weekly fire alarm tester will be based around the Richmond and surrounding areas.

Purpose of the Role/Role Overview:To provide Weekly or Monthly testing of Fire Related systems such as Fire Alarms, Automatic Opening Vents and Emergency Lighting.Working across contracts in accordance with company operating procedures within Geographical areasReporting directly to the Contracts Manager
General Duties/Key Responsibilities: Carrying out daily, weekly, monthly testing at various properties of fire related assets. Carry out tests of any fire detection system installed to the common parts or extended to Individual Dwellings under direction. Reporting of any defections which could effect the clients compliancy. Maintain up to date knowledge and understanding of best practice in undertaking testing by continually learning, developing, and improving. To act at all times in a professional and diligent manor, considering the need of the client
