Job Description
HV Senior Authorised Person - Petro-chemical Sector
We are currently seeking a highly-skilled and experienced HV Senior Authorised Person for our client in the petro-chemical sector based in Liverpool. The successful candidate will play an integral role within their team, responsible for ensuring all high voltage equipment is operated safely on site.
Qualifications:
* Level 4 Award in Design & Verification of Electrical Installations
* City & Guilds 2396 or equivalent qualification (Electrical Safety Management)
Skills Required:
HV Switching -
The ideal candidate must be capable of performing switching operations at both low and high voltages levels with significant experience gained from working on similar projects.
Senior Authorised Person -
As a senior authorised person, you'll have extensive knowledge regarding electrical safety rules/regulations which ensure that any faults or defects can be prevented before they occur.
Isolations -
You should possess sound isolation skills to isolate sections under repair without interrupting power supply elsewhere; also, excellent communication abilities are required as this job requires coordination with other personnel who may require access to isolated areas
Permits To Work-
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency when it comes down coordinating permits-to-work processes by creating them promptly alongside associated documentation such as risk assessments etc., while constantly monitoring compliance issues throughout each project phase.
PTR Coordinator -
Previous PTR Coordination involvement is essential. You shall provide technical support services during commissioning activities including issuing appropriate procedures/reviews related ITT's through FAT/SAT testing phases up until final acceptance tests stage.
Commissioning -
It's crucial that candidates exhibit vast familiarity/experience concerning pre-commission checks post-installation prior beginning operational status like energisation/charging circuits/etc.
