Job Description

Minimum Requirements: Relevant design diploma/degree 4-6 years experience working as a Graphic Designer Fully bilingual - 50% of content and writing will be in AFRIKAANS Good foundation in design principles Advanced Adobe skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Strong eye for typography, colour, and hierarchy as well as attention to detail Copywriting skills advantageous but not compulsory Work in a collaborative team environment as well as independently Self-motivated and well-organized with effective time-management skills to meet tight deadlines Team player with the ability to work with other designers as well as being proactive and conscientious Strong work ethic and accountability Friendly and outgoing Copywriting skills advantageous but not compulsory Duties and Responsibilities: Product Development : Contribute to product development, spanning from packaging design to apparel, clothing trims, and detailed design. Knowledge in Teck Pack in Fashion. Creative Problem Solving: Tackle design challenges head-on and provide innovative and effective solutions. Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest design and art trends to ensure our work remains fresh and relevant. Layout and Composition: Skillfully arrange and present products in a visually appealing manner that enhances their marketability. Image Sourcing and Editing: Source and edit lifestyle images that align with our product offerings. Multi-Medium Design: Work with various design mediums, including digital and print, to create compelling visuals. Content Creation: Develop engaging visual content for marketing campaigns, social media, and promotional materials. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to translate ideas into visually appealing designs. Intercompany Interaction: Interact with key stakeholders to understand their design needs and present design concepts and solutions effectively. Brand Management: Ensure that all designs align with and reinforce our brand identity and guidelines. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks and ensure designs meet industry standards and project requirements.
