Job Description

Overseeing fire door carpenters on remedials to anti-ligature, alarm operated fire doors in a live mental health hospital in Middlesborough.

What's on offer?

* Fire Door Supervisor/Foreman (non-working)

* Temporary, self-employed contract starting 27 January 2025 for 3-weeks + the possibility for future work

* Offered between £240 - £260/day CIS depending on qualifications and experience

* Operating on a static site in Middlesborough with free parking on site

Responsibilities:

* Overseeing two to four carpenters

* Managing H&S on site including extensive tool checks

* Quality control of the works on site

* Client liaison

* Overseeing schedule of works and ensuring programme deadlines are met

The successful candidate:

* SSSTS / SMSTS

* Carpentry/Fire Door joiner background with NVQ L2 or above

* Demonstratable experience overseeing fire door install/remedial projects

* Experience working in a live hospital environment
