Job Description
Project Manager - Civil Engineer required by my client a leading and well-respected company within the Marine Industry.
The successful candidate will be a competent Project Manager and have a Civil Engineering degree along with experience in the design of Structural Elements and Engineering Analysis
Purpose of This Role includes:
The Planning, management and control of work delivered internally and through external suppliers.
Ensuring the Group's infrastructure and development project workload is completed on time, within budget and within operational constraints through management of project teams.
To obtain and provide advice on all marine, property, civil engineering, construction and project management matters surrounding management of and investment in, the Group's existing and future infrastructure.
Other technical and environmental support to the Group as required.
To be a key member of the Property Infrastructure team supporting as necessary on a wide variety of tasks falling within the remit of the department.
Management responsibility for delivering capital projects across the group. This will include management of project budget, procurement, timeliness of delivery and quality of the finished work on several key projects.
surveying and recording the condition of infrastructure.
planning, budget forecasting and cost control for capital projects.
liaison with external contractors and consultant organisations.
liaison with internal departments such as operations, finance and sales & marketing
Coordination and management of 3rd party project management service provider as necessary
liaison with regulatory authorities to obtain licences, consents or permissions needed in the course of the allocated project work.
assist in the delivery of my client's other development projects as required.
