Job Description
Scientist required, based in Leicestershire, 12-month contract, starting ASAP paying £29,000 per annum

Salary: £29,000 per annum
Term: 12-month contract
SRG are currently recruiting for a Scientist to join a global material manufacturer based in Leicestershire. This is a temporary role, initially lasting 12 months with the potential to be extended, this department has a great family feel where you will be fully supported throughout the contact. This role will be involved in R&D / NPD projects across the business and will be tasked with providing test data and feedback to the rest of the team, the business and ultimately, customers. Full training will be provided and applications from graduates are welcome.

What the job involves:
Hands on lab role supporting R&D projects through formation development and small-scale testing
Accurately recording and analysing data, writing reports and communicating results to line managers
Maintaining high standards of H&S, working to quality management system
Contributing to team continuous improvement activitiesWhat we are looking for:
Chemistry / materials science / or similar graduate
Recent experience in a laboratory setting (University/Industrial)
Competent with MS Office software packages
Responsible and proactive, eager to learn and curious!
Good communication & organisational skills
Logical approach
Team player
