AZURE ARCHITECT
6 Contract Opportunity | Hertfordshire 3 days onsite | Inside IR35 via umbrella
Our client, a leading organisation in the technology sector, is seeking an experienced Azure Architect to join their team for a 6-month initial contract. As part of their Security Architecture team, you will bring specialised skills to enhance their security presence across various technology and infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct architecture reviews & security risk assessments for projects
Collaborate with Azure Admin, development teams, and security partners
Provide guidance on configuration and security setup for applications
Resolve gaps in cloud infrastructure with the Development team
Deploy security features for Azure applications
Deep knowledge of API management, encryption, O365, Azure AD, and more
Understand and drive adoption of security standards into the teams
Facilitate risk management and challenge decisions when necessary
Requirements:
12-15 years of relevant work experience or 10 years with a master's degree
Solid experience in enterprise IT architecture and diverse deployment methods
Proficient in cloud security standards and frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO)
Strong knowledge of Azure cloud architectures and managed Kubernetes
Understanding of network segregation, WAF, proxies, and firewalls
Familiar with workload security and DevOps practises
Certifications such as AZ-500, AZ-303/304, or Microsoft Certified Cyber Security Architect
