Job Duties:

Operating a telehandler to move materials around construction sites
Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the telehandler
Loading and unloading materials from vehicles
Assisting with general site duties as required
Following health and safety regulations at all times

Required Qualifications:

Valid telehandler operator certification
Previous experience operating a telehandler in a construction environment
Understanding of construction site safety procedures

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a telehandler in a construction setting

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent hand-eye coordination
Ability to work well under pressure
Good communication skills
Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications related to construction machinery operation
Experience working on large-scale construction projects

Working Conditions:

Work primarily outdoors on construction sites
May be required to work in varying weather conditions
Physical demands including lifting and bending
Full-time hours with potential for overtime
