They have an opportunity for a Proposals Engineer to be part of their dynamic team and contribute to delivering engineering proposals that exceed client expectations.
Role Overview:
The Proposals Engineer is responsible for crafting detailed engineering proposals, preparing quotations, estimating costs, and compiling comprehensive project documentation. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries while maintaining the company's high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver timely and accurate quotes/proposals for incoming inquiries.
*
Prepare and coordinate technical documentation packs.
*
Conduct diligent contract reviews to ensure compliance with company policies.
*
Coordinate projects, quotes, proposals, and orders to guarantee 100% customer satisfaction.
*
Create customer quotations/proposals with accompanying written technical documentation.
*
Work closely with Application Engineers and Assembly Managers to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
*
Liaise professionally with customers regarding technical clarifications and delivery timelines.
*
Efficiently procure non-stock items required for projects.
*
Generate technical job packs for assembly technicians and collaborate with CAD engineers for drawings.
Qualifications & Skills:
Essential:
*
Degree/qualification or background in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
*
Proven technical track record in Control and Instrumentation for Process Industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Food and Pharmaceutical
*
Strong communication skills for providing technical advice and guidance.
*
Proficient in IT systems, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
*
Demonstrated commercial awareness and business knowledge.
*
Exceptional attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and work under deadlines.
*
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
*
Self-starter with initiative, self-motivation, and team collaboration capabilities.
*
Alignment with company values, including respect, quality, integrity, innovation, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
Preferred:
*
Experience with P&ID/schematic diagrams.
*
Knowledge of FAT procedures and standard project planning tools.
*
Electrical experience and manufacturing process improvement knowledge.
*
Experience working with new build equipment and mounting instrumentation.

Familiarity with 3D CAD software
