Contracts Manager - Manchester
I am working with a large privately owned contractor that specialises in fit-out, maintenance and refurbishments across a variety of sectors.
The company has recently won a contract refurbishing offices across the UK, and are looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple DWP electrical upgrades in the North West.
The Role
They are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager with a background managing local authority frameworks preferable!
Key Responsibilities include:
- Overall responsibility of managing framework master trackers and programme scheduling
- Assist Project & Contracts Managers to monitor project progress and team members performance
- Review, revise and issue company risk assessments and method statements to the client safety department and site managers
- Assist PM in development of Project Management documents
- Coordinate the allocation of project resources to ensure the project team has what's needed
- Meetings with project clients to assess their needs and define project requirements
- Review project labour requirements and assist with the recruitment of site managers.
About You:
- Excellent organization, communication and problem solving skills
- High level of IT skills, particularly Microsoft 365 suite of applications
- Background in construction environment preferred
