Job Description
The Company
Have you got a wealth of experience as a Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer?

They work on a range of Civil Engineering frameworks (50%) for end user agencies as well as one off projects for private owners and main contractors. Their schemes span the UK and abroad, requiring very little business development to procure due to their unrivalled reputation.
Their clients recognise their expertise in the market and find them both extremely professional yet affordable.
The Role
Reporting into the Board and working alongside the Engineering Team Manager, the “Associate Director” will provide technical oversight, direction and support to the engineering team. They will likely take up a “Project Lead” role on larger projects while providing input across the whole business portfolio.
Although supporting the team with their ongoing development (including paths toward chartership with ICE, IStructE), the role will be fairly ‘hands off’ when it comes to day to day line management. The joys of engineering without the ties of team management!! What a treat!
Key duties will include:
Bid Management, quotations and tenders
Project approval and sign-off
Technical oversight and direction of all projects
Project lead on Major schemes, including the production of technical design drawings
Review and approval of CDM (2015) documentation for various roles (Principal Contractor, Principal Designer, Contractor, Designer etc,).
