Job Description

We are currently looking for an International Partnership Manager to join our International Recruitment Team, to support the delivery of the University Internationalisation and Student Recruitment strategies, supporting the student journey both in Edinburgh and in conjunction with our partners around the world.

The International Recruitment teams focus is on the promotion of the University overseas and the delivery of the International Recruitment Strategy across eight regions: Africa, Americas and Caribbean, Asia Pacific and Oceania, China, Europe and Eurasia, Middle East and North Africa (MENA), South Asia and Southeast Asia.

The department works closely? with many stakeholders to drive student recruitment from target markets across all levels of study.

The Role:

As International Partnership Manager you will have the opportunity to lead and manage international student recruitment and institutional partnerships from key regions for the University. You will lead the strategic development and operational management of the Universitys international recruitment activities in the Africa, Middle East and South Asia region ensuring you are contributing to institutional targets.

Furthermore, you will play a key role in representing the University on visits overseas targeting recruitment and partnership markets, ensuring you are continuously promoting Edinburgh Napier through education fairs and targeted visits, as well as developing and managing relationships with our network of partner universities, agents, sponsors and external stakeholders across the region.

You will also be in a position to provide leadership and line management of a regional team of staff based in the UK and overseas with responsibility for driving international student recruitment in Africa, Middle East and South Asia.

This is a great opportunity to be a subject matter expert, leading the universitys advances in this area, developing new partnerships in major territories and providing strong collaboration with a variety of networks across the world.

Please note you will be expected to travel overseas regularly within this position.

Who we are looking for:

Extensive experience of international student recruitment

Ability to negotiate and manage international partnerships

Experience of managing budgets and line management.

Strong interpersonal and team-working skills with the ability to build effective working relationships and a network of contacts.

It would be advantageous if you are fluent (spoken and written) in a relevant second language.

Additional information:

Salary: £45,163 - £56,921

Closing date: 6 January 2025

The University may be able to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. This will depend on several factors specific to the successful applicant.
