Accountant - Fixed term Contract

My client is a leading organization dedicated to providing exceptional care and innovative health solutions to our community. We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our dynamic finance team on a fixed-term basis. If you have a passion for numbers, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to contribute to a purpose-driven organization, we want to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Financial Statement Drafting Prepare accurate and timely draft financial statements in compliance with applicable standards Assist with year-end reporting and audit preparation. Financial Reporting Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Provide detailed variance analysis and commentary on financial performance. Full Finance Function Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management. Perform reconciliations, process journal entries, and maintain the general ledger. Support budget preparation and forecasting activities. Compliance & Controls Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls. Collaborate with auditors and regulatory authorities as required. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus. Proven experience in preparing financial statements and reports. Strong understanding of the full finance function and financial processes. Experience in the health care industry is advantageous but not essential. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). Advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
