Job Description
Danny Sullivan Group are searching for their next HSEQ Advisor to work in Edinburgh.
The ideal candidate for this position would hold previous experience in a similar role and provide training, advice and information to all departments and levels within the business.
Responsibilities:
Inform all relevant parties of any changes in your duties that may impact them.
Ensure strict adherence to accident and dangerous occurrence reporting and recording procedures in compliance with RIDDOR, as directed by the SHEQ Manager.
Provide expert advice on the company's safety policies, procedures, and statutory compliance across the company.
Oversee that contractors maintain satisfactory health and safety standards aligned with contractual requirements, company specifications, policies, and procedures.
Ensure that site employees adhere to the company’s health and safety policies, procedures, and those of clients.
Recommend disciplinary actions when site supervisory staff do not adequately meet safety responsibilities.
Take appropriate action when notified of safety disregard on-site.
Ensure a safe and healthy environment for everyone working in or visiting any company site or premises.
Monitor the availability and effectiveness of welfare facilities.Experience/Qualifications:
NEBOSH/NVQ Level 6/NCRQ Level 6 qualified.
Previous experience working within the Power/Utilities/Highways is essential.
Experience handling DNO’s/IDNO’s.
Positive people management skills.
