Job Description
Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for an Estimator (Tendering) in the HV Power Engineering Sector on a Permanent Role based from Home
Summary of Role:
This role will be responsible for supporting the senior estimator in managing the preparation and submission of high-quality tenders and proposals.
Key Responsibilities
* Negotiate contracts, manage customer expectations, and maintain client database.
* Prepare, submit, and present tenders/proposals; ensure compliance with deadlines.
* Collaborate internally to gather data, develop cost estimates, and assess risks.
* Track tender performance, provide reports, and support continuous improvement.
* Oversee technical responses, maintain libraries, and manage handover to operations.
Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field
* Experience of tendering management, with a proven track record of securing new business and achieving budget and forecast targets.
* Indirectly leading and influencing people/teams from other functions
* Working to tight deadlines
* Proficient with MS Project.
