Senior Business Development Manager - Solar
Company: Leading Renewable Energy Solutions Provider
Location: Flexible within the North West of UK
Salary: £70,000 - £90,000+ per annum, plus uncapped bonus
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in the solar industry

Role Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand their market presence within the solar industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, tender writing, and possess an established network of partners, introducers, and customers. This role offers flexibility in location within the UK and is suited for a self-motivated professional requiring minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and secure new business opportunities in the commercial solar PV sector.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, introducers, and customers.
* Lead the preparation and submission of compelling tenders and proposals.
* Collaborate with the technical and project teams to ensure client requirements are met.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to our client’s growth objectives.
* Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in the solar industry, with a focus on business development.
* Proven experience in tender writing and securing contracts.
* Established network of industry contacts that can be leveraged to generate new business.
* Strong understanding of commercial solar PV systems and renewable energy solutions.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
