Position: Art Teacher
Location: Telford, Shropshire
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: January 2025
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Encourage creativity and help students explore various artistic techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media.
* Develop and implement a dynamic Art curriculum that reflects current trends and fosters a passion for the subject.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Manage the art department’s resources and ensure a safe, creative, and inclusive learning environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive and dynamic team to contribute to the wider school community.
Key Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Art at secondary level, including GCSE or A-Level (desirable but not essential).
* Strong passion for the arts and a creative, student-focused teaching style.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
* Enhanced DBS check.
