Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Personal Care (Reception 1:1 Support)
Location: Westminster, London
Salary: £85 to £100 per day
Start Date: January 2024

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Westminster. Starting in January, you will provide 1:1 support to a Reception child with personal care needs. This role is perfect for an experienced, compassionate individual who is passionate about supporting young children and making a positive impact on their early development and in their education and training journey as a level 3 teaching assistant.
Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 personal care support to a Reception student
Assist with basic hygiene, feeding, and mobility
Support the child's learning and engagement with classroom activities
Work collaboratively with the class teacher and support staff to ensure the child's needs are met
Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment within the education and training sector.
What We're Looking For:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Previous experience working with young children, ideally in a school or care setting
A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to personal care and child development
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Understanding of early years education and child development
Someone who can reliably commute to Westminster.
