Process Engineer (Technical)

Minimum requirements: BSc, BEng Chemical Engineering degree (Not negotiable) Project Management (PRINCE II certificate / experience) Professional Engineer (PR Eng) (Not negotiable) Experience on Quality Management and laboratory operations Experience in World Class Systems and Operational Excellence implementation Experience in developing and using MES system for analysis of operational data Familiar with Financial Budgeting and Capex Management Extensive knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 and ISO 9001, Quality Management System and legal appointments Extensive knowledge of hazardous chemical manufacturing and handling codes, preferably in a Chlor-Alkali plant Knowledge on different types of equipment related to a chemical manufacturing plant Hazard identification, risk assessment and root cause analysis Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical handbooks Experience in working with operational excellence, energy management and world class manufacturing principles Experience in managing and coordinating projects, continuous improvement activities Experience using SharePoint and Corrective Action Systems (Digilex) Knowledge on Operations Technology (SCADA, PLC, SAP IM and MES) In-depth knowledge of Operational Technology (OT), MES systems, SCADA database, ERP software and Dashboard reporting Sound understanding of Project and Contract Management, supplier management, change principles and continuous improvement In-depth knowledge of process engineering, HAZOP studies and LOPA Consultant: Edna Anderhold - Dante Personnel Pretoria Silver Lakes
