Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30 & Friday: 08:00 - 15:30

£12.00 per hour

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our brand-new client based in Cumbernauld.

You must hold a valid UK Driving Licence and must be aged 25 or over for this role for insurance purposes.

You must also hold a valid Counterbalance FLT Licence.

The successful candidate will be working with a dedicated team of three in managing the daily operations of our client's warehouse.

Day to Day Duties

Working as an FLT Driver for our client your duties will be:

• Stock organisation
• Picking orders
• Loading and unloading stock
• Driving the company van and delivering to customers as and when required
• Shrink wrapping orders to be prepared dispatch
• Driving/operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently

Essential Skills

Skills needed to be an FLT Driver for our client are:

• Valid UK Category B Driving Licence
• Due to client's insurance, applicants MUST be 25+ years old
• Valid RTITB Counterbalance Licence
• Physically fit, capable of lifting and moving heavy goods
• Punctual, reliable, and adaptable for supporting the team
• Have no more than six points on Driving Licence for minor infringements
• No DR or DD convictions can be accepted, due to client's insurance
• This can be a physically demanding role, so you must be prepared for heavy lifting
• Good spatial awareness

Desirable Experience

• Familiarity with local road networks
• Similar experience as a Driver's Mate or similar delivery support role

What training is provided?

• All manual handling training provided and additional support throughout
