Job Description
Construction Manager, Plymouth
Salary: circa £35K - £50K per annum
Role: Brand new role for a growing boutique developer based in Plymouth. Working with and reporting to the Construction Director assisting with the delivery of varying in-house projects from £200K - £2M.
Candidate: The role will suit anyone that has a good knowledge of construction generally and how the process “Works”. A technical or commercial construction qualification would be beneficial but not crucial to the appointment. This role could equally suit someone who currently works ‘on the tools’ who is looking to get into management and work for a smaller but growing developer.
The ideal candidate will require:
Own transport and willing, periodically to travel although predominantly working in Plymouth and surrounding area
Construction knowledge
Good commercial understanding
Relevant site health and safety qualifications
Computer skills, specifically MS Office
The ability to understand the need to work within budgets and programmes
Ability to manage resources with assistance from the wider team
Ability to work closely with Site teams and Sub-Contractors
Flexibility
Person will need to live within a daily commute to central Plymouth
