Who We Are

In collaboration with our parent company, TELUS Digital, we've launched Fuel iX, an enterprise-grade AI engine designed to help companies upgrade their generative AI (GenAI) pilots to production scale, deploy customized solutions faster, and effectively manage the technology responsibly. Fuel iX is an enterprise platform that makes it easy to connect a company's infrastructure to an extensive library of LLM models and to turnkey and custom generative AI applications, while giving you observability of all of the steps in between.

The Specialty Customer Solutions Architect will be a foundational member of the Fuel iX team and will be responsible for detailed solution design in specific customer portfolios. You will play a pivotal role in product development by collaborating with internal teams to enhance Fuel iX's offerings, based on customer feedback and technology trends.

Location

This role will have the option to be in a Work From Near (Hybrid) capacity based out of one of our US offices OR in a Work From Anywhere (Remote) capacity with travel to clients and WillowTree offices expected.
Responsibilities
  • Solution Design: Develop and design technical architecture solutions that align with the customer's business goals and requirements. Create detailed solution blueprints; oversee their implementation to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Technical Support and Pre-Sales: Provide technical assistance and support to sales staff for customer-facing presentations and technical documentation. Engage with sales teams to identify customer issues and propose IT solutions that address those needs effectively
  • Customer Interaction: Act as the technical point of contact for customers, understanding their needs, and translating them into actionable technical solutions. Conduct technical presentations and demos to showcase proposed solutions
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product development teams to ensure that solutions are feasible and align with Fuel iX's offerings. Liaise with subject matter experts to identify problem areas and propose solutions
  • Implementation and Management: Oversee the implementation phase of the solutions to ensure they meet the specified requirements and are delivered on time. Manage and track the progress of ongoing customer projects and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements to propose innovative solutions. Continuously improve the architecture design process to enhance efficiency
Competencies
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Current and proven experience as a Solutions Architect, preferably with a focus on customer solutions
  • Strong technical background with expertise in designing and implementing technical architectures
  • Technical expertise in managed services and customer service software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions
  • Project management skills to oversee the implementation of proposed solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
