JOB DESCRIPTION
Guinness Property are expanding our team in the South West and have two new opportunities for Multi-Skilled Joiners to join our Empty Homes & Repairs Team covering Guinness homes in the Bristol and surrounding areas. These are full time, permanent vacancies, working 39 hours per week, Mon - Fri.
Candidates must be skilled in plumbing, plastering & decorating, and must live within 25 miles of Bristol to be able to reach all the locations in a timely manner.

A full current driving licence is needed so you can drive one of our vans when necessary. Offers are subject to satisfactory driving licence and onboarding checks. This position will require a basic DBS check which will be paid for by The Guinness Partnership.
*Your Welcome Bonus is payable in 2 parts. £500 is paid in your first month's salary and £500 is paid when you pass your probation. To be eligible for the Welcome Bonus you must be an external applicant and not currently employed by The Guinness Partnership.

Essential Skills/Experience:
- Demonstrable competence within the Joinery and Carpentry trade.
- Various multi-trade skills and experience, sufficient to enable the completion of repairs at the first visit (first time fix).
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment
- Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures & accurately record information.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating organisational & time management skills.
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems, seeking any advice required.
- Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
- Ability to operate safely, taking into account any environmental circumstances and possible risks.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience of working within the social housing sector.
Essential Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification or equivalent recognised competency in the Joinery & Carpentry trade.
