Role: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Wakefield

Rate: £300 per day CIS

Duration: On-going

We are recruiting for a senior quantity surveyor to oversee projects from £50k - £2m on a large commercial contract. The project are upgrades, remodels & refurbishments.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQs) for projects, room by room, floor by floor.
• Conduct accurate take-offs for materials and costs.
• Ensure MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) services are integrated into estimates.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver cost-effective solutions.
• Analyze tender documents and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in estimating fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Solid understanding of MEP services.
• Ability to perform take-offs and create detailed BoQs.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficienct with excel and MS applications

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor .
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field preferred.
